The Mysore Winter Racing Season 2025–2026 promises high-quality action and heightened anticipation, with the prestigious Invitation Cup Weekend returning to the foothills of Chamundi this year. The season opens on 19th November 2025 and will run through 1st March 2026, featuring 15 competitive race days.
Over 400 horses are expected to participate through the season, prepared by more than 20 leading ‘A’ licensed trainers—including stalwarts such as M. Bobby, Rakesh, C. D. Monappa, Vinesh Naik, along with several other established professionals who consistently shape the Mysore circuit.
The jockeys’ room too will be ablaze with talent, as all the leading riders of the country are slated to be in action. The Mysore Race track, meticulously prepared and expertly maintained, appears ready to withstand the sustained pressure of four months of top-class racing.
A major highlight of the season will be the Invitation Cup Weekend, scheduled for 28th February 2026, followed by the season finale on 1st March 2026—two days certain to draw nationwide attention.
